Simple Recipe For Kids to Make: Fruit Smoothie

Here is a simple recipe that young kids will be able to make by themselves. This is also a great recipe to use to introduce preschool kids to the art of cooking. Preschool kids can help wash fruit and put it in the blender and turn it on.


Kids if you haven't used a blender before, be sure to ask your parents about how to safely and correctly use a blender before trying this recipe.

I have decided to start posting recipes to help those who are parents of children with celiac disease. I am not the type of mom who uses tons of expensive flour and xanthum gum. Last April my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac Disease. She spent the entire week of her 3rd birthday in the hospital! I felt awful! Sorry if anyone is sitting around waiting for the next pattern to come out...cause I haven't been crocheting for a while. With it being harvesting season and me 8 months pregnant; I get pretty exhausted and rarely feel like picking up my projects at the end of the day.


I previously mentioned the potatoes that I had made into french fries and hashbrowns. Since then I have also put up onions, peppers, applesauce (which my kids love), and a trial batch of tomato sauce.
